Ultimate Whirley Pop Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 120g mushroom kernel popcorn (1/2 cup)
  • 40g coconut oil (2-3 tbsp)
  • 2g popcorn salt (1/4 to 1/2 tsp, to taste)
  • Popcorn cheese seasoning (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Place the Whirley Pop on the stove and set the heat to medium-high (6-7 on your stovetop).
  2. Add coconut oil to the Whirley Pop and let it melt completely, heating for about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in the popcorn kernels and sprinkle in the popcorn salt.
  4. Close the lid and continuously turn the handle to ensure even heating and prevent burning.
  5. When popping begins, keep turning the handle until the popping slows to 1-2 seconds between pops.
  6. Remove from heat immediately and transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
  7. Sprinkle the popcorn cheese seasoning evenly over the popcorn while still warm and toss to coat.
  8. Enjoy your perfectly popped, cheesy popcorn!

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle melted butter before adding the cheese seasoning.

Experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder, smoked paprika, or nutritional yeast.
