Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix sourdough discard, yogurt, olive oil, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Divide into 6-8 equal portions, roll into balls, then flatten into thin ovals (3-5mm thick).
  6. Preheat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat (setting 7-8 on electric glass top).
  7. Lightly coat the pan with olive oil and cook each naan for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown with bubbles.
  8. Optional: Brush with melted garlic butter for extra flavor.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
